Children gain valuable experiences and positive role models from school meals where they learn healthy eating habits, socialize and are exposed to a variety of foods. School cafeteria staff serve as role models by promoting nutritious choices and creating a sense of community, and peers who embrace healthy eating become inspiration for their classmates. The children of our school performed very well in this program today and prepared delicious and colorful food and enjoyed it.
