On November 11, 2024, an exciting General Debate unfolded among grades 6, 7, and 8, bringing together young minds in a lively exchange of ideas. The competition featured three dynamic rounds, with each team boasting five dedicated participants. Team A, “Logic Lions,” led by their confident captain, Joshua Shalo, took on the challenge to oppose, while Team B, “Argument Avengers,” led by the articulate Sandali Sithmini, presented arguments in favor of the topic: Government Schools are Better than Private Schools. This debate, designed to sharpen students’ oratory skills and promote teamwork, showcased their impressive abilities to reason, persuade, and work collaboratively toward a shared goal.
